As part of our continuous effort to enhance customer’s experience, now we are introducing Streamyx Troubleshooting Guide CD to ensure that our customers will enjoy a smooth and stable Streamyx Connectivity effective from 1 April 2010.
If you are facing any problems with your Streamyx Connection, you can use the CD to check, verify and troubleshoot the problem yourself. The CD will provide you step by step guide on how to resolve your Streamyx Connection problems including info, tips and FAQ. If you still have problems with your connection after you have followed the suggestions in the CD please contact Call Centre at 100. This Streamyx troubleshooting guide is applicable to customers with home package only. You can get the CD from nearest TMpoint while stocks last.
But in the meantime, we have also introduced Streamyx Connection Helper, which can be downloaded and installed from www.streamyx.com.my under ‘Customer Care Troubleshooting’ menu. Streamyx Connection Helper is a program that would enable you to check your Streamyx connection, display the result and provide instructions on how to resolve your Internet connection problem. Streamyx Connection Helper is divided into two files depending on your modem connection.
1) Wired Connection – connection from PC/Notebook to the modem through cable (RJ45 Cable).
2) Wireless Connection – connection from PC/Notebook to the modem without cable (support for Riger brand modem only).
If you still do not have an Internet connection after you have run the program, please contact the Call Centre for further assistance.
